Chuck MacNab began publishing a blog in 2004, presenting opinion gathered from close up observations and unique experiences gained from traveling around the world for over 50 years. For instance, Chuck was in East Germany a week before the Berlin Wall went up and was able talk extensively with Russian and German soldiers before entering West Berlin. As King Saud's personal pilot, he observed the King from a few feet away, while he held court in the desert. He provided transportation to many of the King's ministers and others to and from his court and to many locations in the Middle East, some very remote. He is a designated Naval Aviator who flew combat missions from the deck of the U.S.S. Princeton and he instructed Naval Aviator candidates in the U.S. Navy's advanced single engine tactics school. He is a retired International Airline Captain who flew as pilot in command over most of TWA's domestic and world-wide routes. He commanded the final TWA flight from India while based in Cairo, Egypt. In the course of providing transportation to a variety of people Chuck has had many interesting and informative conversations with past and current national and world leaders. As a result of these experiences he has developed a unique perspective on political matters and reflects this quality in his commentaries.
