We get American TV here in the cave and these days we watch it gleefully... except we can't stand the infidels at FOX, where they are definitely NOT helping our cause. I have given orders to our fighters that when we get to America and take over, the males who have watched FOX will be forced to read the New York Times, watch NBC, CBS and ABC 50 times a day and the females who have watched FOX will be "bagged up" to run around in especially ugly Burkas.

Amazingly, the left wing Democrats in the American Congress have shown that they are ignorant of what destroys the morale of their own troops. Yes, we know they say they care for troop morale but after watching them on TV during Bush's speech, what they say is obviously just so much camel dung. IT' ALL ABOUT OIL (and survival)

And, we don't need to be on a "guilt trip" about it either! So what are we doing? Too many Republicans are allowing themselves to be distracted while the left wing of the Democrat Party hands over vital Middle East resources to America's enemies!

The way things are going, get ready for long lines at gas stations, smaller cars, higher taxes, higher food prices and a lot less tax revenue to protect our essential interests around the world. Our guess is that if long lines form at gas stations, politicians will quickly get the message that it's all about resources!

The left wing leadership in Congress has already told the Jihadists that if we have a few more "disappointments" we'll throw in the towel so we need to get ready to face a horde of radical Muslims armed with nuclear weapons who really believe that if they die trying to exterminate Israel and the U.S. they will go to a better life. We are in real danger over the next 25 years of becoming like Britain in 1940... Only the Nazis didn't have nuclear weapons, didn't believe in suicide and there is no U.S. to come to the rescue!

The historically impaired might consider that for hundreds of years ancient Rome was able to "suck it up" and defeat its enemies. Then, slowly, that capacity vanished and what followed were lawless societies characterized by unimaginable savagery, the loss of most skills and knowledge and more than a thousand years of the Dark Ages. Because of the advance of technology things happen much faster these days than in the days of ancient Rome. In other words, your granddaughter might be wearing a Burka and your grandson might be a student at a Madrassa!

China completed a 3.7 billion yuan ($476 million) oil storage tank in Zhenhai in October and has started filling it, Jiang Weixin, vice chairman at the National Development and Reform Commission, said Oct. 17. China is building storage tanks for crude oil in the cities of Zhenhai, Zhousan, Qingdao and Dalian. The facilities are set to be completed in 2008.

A CONGRESSMAN SWEARS BY THE QURAN

This piece was sent to us by a friend who lives in Texas. It's a bit long but interesting in that It contains some uncommon background on the early role Muslims played in the slave trade and how Jefferson and the founding fathers handled the Jihad problem in the early days of our country.

Democrat Keith Ellison is now officially the first Muslim United States Congressman. True to his pledge, he placed his hand on the Quran, the Muslim book of jihad, and pledged his allegiance to the United States during his ceremonial swearing-in.  Capitol Hill staff said Ellison's swearing -in
photo opportunity drew more media than they had ever seen in the history of the U.S. House. Ellison represents the 5th Congressional District of Minnesota.

The Quran Ellison used was no ordinary book. It once belonged to Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States, and one of America's founding fathers. Ellison borrowed it from the Rare Book Section of the Library of Congress. It was one of the 6,500 Jefferson books archived in the library.

Ellison, who was born in Detroit and converted to Islam while in college, said he chose to use Jefferson's Quran because it showed that "a visionary like Jefferson" believed that wisdom could be gleaned from many sources. There is no doubt Ellison was right about Jefferson believing wisdom could be "gleaned" from the Muslim Quran. At the time Jefferson owned the book, he needed to know everything possible about Muslims because he was about to advocate war against the Islamic "Barbary" states of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Tripoli. Ellison's use of Jefferson's Quran as a prop illuminates a subject once well-known in the history of the United States, but, which today, is mostly forgotten - the Muslim pirate slavers who over many centuries enslaved millions of Africans and tens of thousands of Christian Europeans and Americans in the Islamic "Barbary" states. ...(there is more)

LEADERSHIP IN ST PETERS

A few days ago, an article appeared in a local newspaper dealing with the power-mongering antics of the majority of the St Peters Board of Alderman. If these gentlemen paid as much attention to city problems, such as the traffic "mess" they have allowed to be created in various locations instead of conjuring up ways to keep people from engaging in free speech, they might have more confidence among their citizens and they wouldn't be risking lawsuits from some who feel their constitutional rights have been trampled.

THE LAW IS THE LAW

 So if the US government determines that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, then, so be it.

And if that same government decides that the "Ten Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be it.

I say, "so be it," because I would like to be a law abiding US citizen.

I say, "so be it," because I would like to think that smarter people than I are in positions to make good decisions.

I would like to think that those people have the American public's best interests at heart.

FROM A MARINE PRACTICING SURVIVAL

This message from a Marine in Iraq should be enough to convince ANYONE that war is war...and must be recognized and treated as such. Politicians should not be telling our soldiers and the public that it is SOMETHING ELSE or akin to an exercise in social welfare. That's what is going on. Some politicians are peddling "instant expertise" because they made a "quickie" visit to Iraq for lunch. If this weren't bad enough, the media, a few misfits and the radical left of the Democrat Party has an agenda that supports our country's enemies and will defeat our national interests. In a broader sense than the topic dealt with below, we should have "fixed" this in the first Gulf War but we still have a chance to do it and it will be a grave mistake, leading to a national disaster, if we don't. Please read the following message from a Marine soldier. He will explain some essential facts that every American should know!

In response to the news blurb about the Marine who put two rounds in a wounded insurgent's head in Fallujah, here's a response from a Marine:

It's a safety issue pure and simple. After assaulting through a target, we put a security round in everybody's head. Sorry al-Reuters, there's no paddy wagon rolling around Fallujah picking up "prisoners" and offering them a hot cup a joe, falafel, and a blanket. There's no time to mess around on the target. You clear the space, dump the chumps, and moveon.org.

Are Corpsman expected to treat wounded terrorists? Negative. Hey libs, worried about the defense budget? Well, it would be waste, fraud, and abuse for a Corpsman to expend one man-minute or a battle dressing on a terrorist. It (makes a lot more sense) to spend the $.02 on a 5.56mm FMJ.

By the way, in our view, terrorists who chop off civilian's heads are not prisoners, they are carcasses. Chopping off a civilian's head is another reason why these idiots are known as "unlawful combatants." It seems that most of the world's journalists have forgotten that fact. (...more)
