THE ATTACK ON WESTERN CULTURE

Here’s an interesting video clip made by a Brit. Maybe you will agree with us that much of what he has to say is akin to the “liberal platform” that might be elected right here in the good old U.S. of A!

Perhaps the electorate is on such a “guilt trip” that we will go nuts about certain things like our national security and our cultural history. Who knows, the time may have arrived when we will just listen to the illiterate, trust funded, college educated and brainwashed “rock star” crowd and throw it all out the window just to see what happens!

DONT FORGET THE ANGRY WHITE MAN

Sent to RiteOn.org by Regular Contributor H.S.B. of Williamsburg, VA. (We enclose some excerpts.) The article is from a surprising source...The Aspen Times Weekly!...
***************************
In election 2008, don’t forget Angry White Man
Gary Hubbell
February 9, 2008

There is a great amount of interest in this year’s presidential elections... The Democrats are riding high with two groundbreaking candidates — a woman and an African-American — while the conservative Republicans are in a quandary about their party’s nod...

Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to children of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians.

There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man...

...His common traits are that he isn’t looking for anything from anyone — just the promise to be able to make his own way on a level playing field. In many cases, he is an independent businessman and employs several people. He pays more than his share of taxes and works hard.

The victimhood syndrome buzzwords — “disenfranchised,” “marginalized” and “voiceless” — don’t resonate with him. “Press ‘one’ for English” is a curse-word to him. He’s used to picking up the tab, whether it’s the company Christmas party, three sets of braces, three college educations or a beautiful wedding...

... He believes the Constitution is to be interpreted literally, not as a “living document” open to the whims and vagaries of a panel of judges who have never worked an honest day in their lives.

The Angry White Man owns firearms, and he’s willing to pick up a gun to defend his home and his country. He is willing to lay down his life to defend the freedom and safety of others, and the thought of killing someone who needs killing really doesn’t bother him.

The Angry White Man is not a metrosexual, a homosexual or a victim. Nobody like him drowned in Hurricane Katrina — he got his people together and got the hell out, then went back in to rescue those too helpless and stupid to help themselves, often as a police officer, a National Guard soldier or a volunteer firefighter.

His last name and religion don’t matter. His background might be Italian, English, Polish, German, Slavic, Irish, or Russian, and he might have Cherokee, Mexican, or Puerto Rican mixed in, but he considers himself a white American...

THE CLINTON PARDONS - DO WE WANT THIS AGAIN?

Forwarded to RiteOn.org by Regular Contributor C.B.H of St. Louis, Missouri.
-------------------------
Please be sure to click on the link at the bottom of the page to refresh your mind about just one of the many Clinton "doings" when they were in power....Ed.
***************
Friends,
Last week I shared some information with many of the recipients of this e-mail about an initiative in 1996 by Bill Clinton's second administration to rush through thousands of citizenship applications for Hispanic immigrants (many of questionable moral status) so these new citizens could vote, presumably for Democratic candidates.
Debra Burlingame -- whose brother, a pilot of American Airlines Flight #77, which was hijacked on September 11, 2001, and flown into the Pentagon -- reminds us of another, far more sinister political ploy by Bill and Hillary Clinton in 1999. That year, Bill Clinton pardoned 16 Puerto Rican terrorists for no other reason than Hillary's run for the Senate in New York State, which has a large Puerto Rican population.
I had almost forgotten about this, but the details came flooding back into my mind. This act was, very simply, an insult to anyone who values justice.

This will make your blood boil...

HUCKABEE SHOULD STEP ASIDE

The likeable Huckabee should step aside and let the campaign to defeat the liberal Democrats get fully under way.

After Mitt Romney, gave up the race, many conservatives came to support Huckabee. Huckabee has some conservative "trappings" but if one looks at his record in Arkansas, questions arise concerning his conservative credentials. He's undoubtedly a "nice guy" who knows how to talk the talk. However, that said, we don't intend for the previous comment to be a distraction. Whether Huckabee is conservative enough is NOT the real issue here. The real issue is winning in 2008!

We can appreciate the loyalty of Huckabees admirers (we would certainly support him over the liberal Democrat opposition). The real issue is that, at this point, he cannot win the Republican nomination no matter who believes what the media is spinning. Some suggest he's having the time of his life, far beyond what he actually anticipated, and he doesn't want to give it up. We can well understand this. Being a popular guy and running for the top job in the Free World is a heady experience, no question about it.

The fact is, those who would argue with Carl Rove's expertise as an election analyst are engaging in wishful thinking. He says, and we agree, there is no way Huckabee can win the nomination of the Republican Party, period! Maybe there is some other kind of "game" going on but if that's the case, we aren't aware of it and it is hurting McCain's chances to win.

While many Conservatives feel McCain is less than the ideal candidate the time has come to get serious about defeating the liberal controlled Democrat Party! Primary campaigns indicate that the Liberal Democrats are turning out twice as many voters as are Republicans. This is NOT a good sign and Republicans, especially conservatives, should set aside the distraction and get to work. Right now it looks as though it's going to be the toughest election in a long time for the Republican Party. We can get together and discuss why after the election is over but right now we don't need to be confused about what needs to be done.

Conservatives can fully understand the reluctance to support McCain but we had better learn to live with the choice or we will have someone in the White House who will "change" a whole lot of things ...in the worst way we can imagine!

Let's get smart here, folks, we aren't going to get it all! Huckabee is an attractive candidate with unusual skills at "pickin' and grinnin' and turning a phrase... but right now he is a serious distraction that may keep us from achieving our most important goal... continued control of the White House.

Conservatives need to focus on the "main game" and indicate they know how to win.

MCCAIN SHOULD BE FEARED BY LIBERALS

According to "liberal pundit" Johann Hari, McCain should be feared (by liberals).

McCain Should Be Feared, Writer Says
...(Excerpts...)

Presidential hopeful John McCain is being billed as the Republican that liberals can live with, but his credentials as a "bipartisan progressive" are in fact a "lazy, hazy myth," according to liberal pundit Johann Hari. ...

... "The truth is that McCain is the candidate we should most fear," writes Hari, a columnist for The Independent in Britain, in an article that appeared in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. "Not only is he to the right of Bush on a whole range of subjects, he is also the Republican candidate most likely to dispense with Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama."

"To give a brief smorgasbord of his views: At a recent rally, he sang 'bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb-bomb Iran,' to the tune of the Beach Boys' 'Barbara Ann.' He says North Korea should be threatened with 'extinction.'

"McCain has mostly opposed using U.S. power for humanitarian goals, jeering at proposals to intervene in Rwanda or Bosnia . . .

"So why do so many nice liberals have a weak spot for McCain? Well, to his credit, he doesn't hate immigrants: He proposed a program to legalize the 12 million undocumented workers in the U.S. He sincerely opposes torture, as a survivor of it himself. He has apologized for denying global warming and now advocates a cap on greenhouse gas emissions but only if China and India can also be locked into the system." (Not likely...Ed.)

Hari concludes: "These sprinklings of sanity - onto a very extreme program - are enough for a superficial, glib press to present McCain as 'bipartisan' and 'centrist.'"
---------------
Despite the writer's view that McCain has some "undesireable" (to conservatives) tendencies, he goes up a notch or two any time a liberal believes he is the one most likely to defeat Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in 2008!
That, frankly, is our bottom line!
The rest, we believe, can be "dealt with." (Ed...)

CONSERVATIVES NOW HAVE A CLEAR LEADER. IT'S MITT ROMNEY!

Brit Hume pointed out on FOX NEWS that Romney’s support from conservatives did not come soon enough.  We wholeheartedly agree with this analysis and we have all had a “day late and a dollar short” experience in one-way or another.

It’s truly unfortunate that Romney's occurred at such an important time in our political decision-making. We must say that some tactics on the part of the McCain and Huckabee camps were not the most attractive and, in our view, the media misinterpreted much of Romney’s comments. I guess that’s par for the course in politics these days but conservatives now need to put the memory of those instances behind them.

As Romney said in the speech suspending his campaign, the two most important issues now facing the country are The War on Terror and The Battle to save our Culture. We agree that his observations in this regard are the most important ones now and we therefore urge conservatives to put aside the past and support John McCain.

The 2008 Presidential election is going to create a “sea change” in American Culture. It can be a change for the better or a precursor to disaster.  As Romney has pointed out, we can be no less concerned than he about the way things are going in the Country so the situation dictates compromise.

We recognize the heart-rending sacrifice Mitt Romney has made in stepping aside and, under other circumstances, we would like to see him continue. However, we also believe that in suspending his campaign and leaving the way clear for McCain, he is not only making a sacrifice for the country but is acting true to form and, as is typical for him, engaging in a pattern of sound thinking.

We have a feeling that Mitt Romney will be back and he will be needed! Meanwhile, in the interest of unity, we support John McCain.
