Same “deal” as the Border... Political “leadership” just can’t handle it and, as a result of long standing voter frustration with politicians, we could wind up with far out “lefty” nut cases filling government posts and imposing radical policies on the American People!

Right now, the “hard core” socialist lefties are running “incognito” and engaging in a political campaign that is carefully disguising what they will do if they win, and they are ahead! Except for Fox News and conservative talk radio, the media is ignoring their obligation to expose this. Still, there is time for them to make it right! If the two leading Democrat Presidential candidates, along with their “fellow travelers” are able to fool enough voters and if enough conservatives ignore the obvious, the radicals will get control of the White House. Combine that with a socialist leaning majority in Congress and that’s when the real nutcase policies will emerge! Think it can’t happen? Read on...

You already know that the Rangel tax hike raises the capital gains tax from 15% today to 24.6% in 2011.  What you might not know is that the Rangel tax hike ultimately raises the capital gains tax all the way to 44.2%--triple the current level.

Well, having observed the progress of the Democrat and Republican Primaries I would have to say at this point, America is probably close to electing Barak Hussein Obama as its next president.  I understand the need for change - but for all my observation of Obama I have yet to hear any decisive, detailed plans - it all seems to be continual rhetoric on the concept of change. It's all rather a puzzlement to me, and more than anything I think this phenomena is representative of the new Survivor/ Oprah Winfrey/ American Idol consciousness (where the bizarre is applauded as reality and image is more important than substance), and it is undoubtedly brought about by the overwhelming dissatisfaction Americans have for a government that has cheated, lied and stolen from them for at least the last two generations. But for minorities, and in particular blacks, this election represents a moment of long-awaited validation.  There is no question that the election of an African-American president will empower the blacks of this country.  Don't misunderstand me - this is not a racist statement, this is just a fact, and in many respects this could be a good thing.  But there is no denying the sense of audacious rebellion that constantly simmers in much of the black community, particularly with the youth of the large metropolitan areas.  I have some concern that the election of a black president will take us back to a consciousness that promotes the power of race over intelligence, reason, and the value of law, and that this may divide black and whites more than uniting them.  I hope that I'm wrong. Obama speaks a lot about a uniting of black and white America, but the church he has attended for years would contradict that.  Although you won't hear much of this on national television, one has but to go to Obama's church of choice, Trinity United Church of Christ (go to the website to check for yourself) to find, and I quote, "An unabashedly black congregation with a non-negotiable commitment to Africa.  "An African people, 'true to our native land, the mother continent, the cradle of civilization." Nowhere in the website is America even mentioned.

How important is Jeremiah Wright to Barack Obama?

He's so important that, until last night when he was forced to step down, he had an official leadership role in Obama's campaign for the presidency.

Yet, Obama insists he does not think of his retired pastor, the man who inspired the name of the candidate's book, "The Audacity of Hope," in political terms.

After listening to this America-hating, racist demagogue, it's hard for me to think of him in anything but political terms.

Are these spiritual homilies from his sermons?

    * "The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three strikes law and then wants us to sing 'God bless America,' No, no, no, not 'God bless America,' God damn America – that's in the Bible, you're killing innocent people, God damn America for treating us citizens as less than human."

    * "We bombed Hiroshima, we bombed Nagaski and we nuked far more than the thousands in New York and the Pentagon, and we never batted an eye. ... America's chickens are coming home to roost."

    * "We've got more black men in prison than there are in college. Racism is alive and well. Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. No black man will ever be considered for president, no matter how hard you run Jesse [Jackson] and no black woman can ever be considered for anything outside what she can give with her body."

    * "America is still the No. 1 killer in the world. ... We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns and the training of professional killers. … We bombed Cambodia, Iraq and Nicaragua, killing women and children while trying to get public opinion turned against Castro and Gadhafi. … We put [Nelson] Mandela in prison and supported apartheid the whole 27 years he was there. We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God."

    * "We supported Zionism shamelessly while ignoring the Palestinians and branding anybody who spoke out against it as being anti-Semitic. ... We care nothing about human life if the end justifies the means. ..."

    * "We started the AIDS virus. … We are only able to maintain our level of living by making sure that Third World people live in grinding poverty. …"

To this, Obama has actually said, with a straight face: "I don't think that my church is actually particularly controversial."

Wright has been spiritual leader to Obama and his family for the last 20 years. He married Michelle and him and baptized their children.

Last night, after days of public revelations of what his pastor believes and preaches, the heat finally got too great and Obama was forced to distance himself from his longtime spiritual mentor. But the political necessities of the moment aside, what does it tell us about Obama and his candidacy that for 20 years he and his wife have been following this raving lunatic? He either has no judgment, no discernment, or he tacitly agrees with the filth he has been listening to preached from the pulpit for the last two decades.

Imagine yourself sitting in church on Sunday and hearing some of the above. What would you do? Would you continue attending such a church? Would you choose it as the place to get married? Would you choose this pastor as the one to baptize your children? Would you be a member for two decades? Would you dedicate your book to him? Would you appoint him to a leadership position in your campaign?

That's what Barack Obama did, as amazing as that may seem.

This is going to hurt Obama. He must realize it. And although he has publicly cut Wright loose, the truth is that Obama essentially agrees with the substance of what Wright says.

I believe it's what Michelle Obama believes, too.

They may disguise their hatred of America a little better than Wright. But, fundamentally, they can't really see what all the fuss is about.

"We spend between the two kids, on extracurriculars outside the classroom, we're spending about $10,000 a year on piano and dance and sports supplements.  And summer programs...Do you know what summer camp costs?"

The burden was especially heavy because she and Barack had to repay the student loans for college and law school at Princeton and Harvard:

"The salaries don't keep up with the cost of paying off the debt, so you're in your 40s, still paying off your debt at a time when you have to save for your kids," Michelle Obama said.

Actually, Michelle's salary has kept up pretty well.  The University of Chicago Hospital, where she is vice president for community affairs, bumped her pay from $121,910 in 2004 to $316,962 after her husband was elected to the U.S. Senate that year.  National Review's Byron York, who covered her remarks at the Zanesville Day Nursery, noted that her new salary is roughly ten times the median household income in Muskingham County.

The Obamas also have Barack's salary as a U.S. Senator ($169,300), royalties from his two best selling books, and an undisclosed amount of income from her service on six corporate boards.  But this hasn't brightened Michelle's outlook:

"We have become a nation of struggling folks who are barely making it every day," Michelle had said at a black church in South Carolina in January.  "Folks are just jammed up, and it's gotten worse over my lifetime...  The life that I'm talking about that most people are living has gotten progressively worse since I was a little girl."

Mrs. Obama was counting her husband and herself among the folks who are just jammed up, reported Lauren Collins of the New Yorker, who was at the Pee Dee Union Baptist Church in Cheraw when Michelle spoke there.

"You're looking at a young couple that's just a few years out of debt," Mrs. Obama said.  "See, because we went to these good schools, and we didn't have trust funds." It is, apparently, America's fault that the Obamas didn't have trust funds, and unfair that they had to repay their student loans.  We're a country that is "just downright mean," Mrs. Obama said.......

OBAMA AND DALEY MACHINE POLITICS

It's interesting to reflect on the appeal by the Obama campaign to keep the polls in Ohio open past the normal closing time.

We are mindful of a similar situation in the City of St Louis where a judge kept the polls open past the normal closing time in a predominantly African American voting area and it was later calculated that it changed the outcome of the election.

The areas to be kept open in Ohio are those where Obama would have the advantage as they are also African American population and Obama has a 9 to 1 advantage over Hillary in those areas.

Many of our friends believe that Obama is a hard core Chicago politician and they also believe that he could never have become a Senator in the State of Illinois if he wasn't an astute practitioner of Chicago politics.

Assuming this view has some validity, we can see a scenario where the election in Ohio is so close that a strategy could be developed where a plausible reason could "emerge" where a judge could be petitioned to allow the polls to stay open, thus giving Obama an edge.

Let's just for the fun of it say that somebody got together with allies at carefully selected polling locations and somehow somebody walked off with a bunch of blank ballots. This would create a shortage and provide a "plausible excuse" to petition a judge to hold open certain polling places. Out of the question? Well, maybe, but the thought of it reminds us of Chicago politics and the "astute practice" of Daley machine tactics!

Then again, the Clintons are certainly experienced enough in "underground politics" to know how to recognize such tactics. The entire scene on the Democrat side is certainly entertaining!

HUGE PRE-ELECTION VOTE IN TEXAS PRIMARY

Republicans MUST overcome their differences, and soon. The 2008 elections will be determined by two things, unity and turnout. Republicans, including conservatives, must match or exceed the Democrats in these two critical areas in the general election. Otherwise, the radical liberals and socialists, who control the Democrat Party, have promised to institute changes that stand a very good chance of destroying American culture and influence throughout the country and the free world.

Both leading candidates of the Democrat Party hate America and no amount of lying to get elected can possibly overcome the stupidity of what they are promising to do! The changes they promise to make will subjugate Americans to the control and influence of the same policies that, in time, have victimized people who live in countries with low living standards, poor health care and a weak national defense. Most of us know that dependency on government quickly turns citizens into victims. Dependency is very much to the liking of the socialist bureaucrat mindset because it allows them to direct the entire wealth of the nation through their sticky fingers. Of course, that gives the "elites" and the bureaucrats total power and control over everything. Corrupt liberal politicians have created this very situation in the big cities of the nation where the Democrat primary is the only meaningful election, the general election is a laughable farce and anyone who would have the guts to say they would cut back the free "handouts" couldn't get elected dog catcher! Think carefully about this because you know it's true. Then decide if you want to help to stop that from happening to all of America!

Republicans and conservatives need to understand that the U.S. will become a left wing socialist dominated country if the liberals gain control of both the Congress and the Presidency. Should that be allowed to happen, the Judicial branch of government could also fall into the hands of the liberals! The real prospect that this could happen is much more important than the differences that exist right now between various factions in the Republican Party!...Ed

He describes incredible increases in numbers (he gives comparisons for both Republicans & Dems) voting in the Early Voting which he calls "a tsunami with no precedent." On the average, apparently doubled, tripled, up to seven times the normal for Republicans, and much higher for the Dems. attributed to the higher than usual interest in the Presidential campaigns.

He gets his data from the Secretary of State's Web site, which provides day-by-day election totals and an archive of early voting history in previous elections. The Texas SOS website pays close attention to the voter turnout for the top 15 counties. Wanted to call your attention to this apparent huge turnout for many Texas counties, if you hadn't heard much, if anything, in the media about the turnout numbers statewide.
