GAS LINES ARE COMING!

THE WORST LEGISLATION IN AMERICAN HISTORY

As most probably know by now, "American Clean Energy and Security Act" passed in the House of Representatives yesterday by a narrow margin. The name alone is an example of how the Congress insults the intelligence of the American people! It should more appropriately be called what it is, “THE AMERICAN ENERGY RATIONING, LOWER LIVING STANDARDS AND INVITATION TO BURY US BILL.” In our opinion the Bill that was passed yesterday is the worst legislation of this magnitude EVER approved. It will affect every American and put America’s vulnerability to attack on a fast track. As Dick Morris has pointed out in his book CATASTROPHE it will, among many other things, create a lower standard of living for Americans than people have seen since the Great Depression. It might even be worse!

The immediate fallout from this legislation, if it or something similar, passes the Senate, will be gas lines much worse than the OPEC lines of the 70’s. It will generate much higher prices for everything consumers use and it will accelerate the movement of businesses to nations that, no matter what they agree to initially, will ignore such crippling policies. Should this legislation become the law of the land, it will place enormous power in the hands of those who run the Federal Government and has the potential of turning the United States into either a socialist or fascist dictatorship. The Obama Administration along with its strategists and fellow travelers is running a skillful con game and knows it has made progress toward these goals.

The first thing that should be done is for citizens to take the time to familiarize themselves with the contents of this legislation. We know it’s boring, detailed and takes time away from life’s daily pleasures! However, it will be a lot more boring, and ultimately devastating, to wait in long lines to get fuel for your car, heat or air condition your home or try to match the highest prices for food we have ever seen with the lower incomes we will all have!

Read the opinions of those who are informed concerning this legislation and ignore those politicians who support this legislation because the Bill is a giant campaign funding instrument and power play device to them. Stick to the facts! In the short term, communicate with your Senator about your opinion, immediately and often. In the longer term, vote against those in office who support this economically crippling legislation. Americans must prevent this gross legislative mistake from becoming law!
