People wonder why the North Koreans are launching a lot of short-range missiles and trying to get the world’s attention focused on this activity. Former Ambassador John Bolton has stated that the primary purpose of the North Korean missile launches could simply be to maintain the dictator’s control of the regime. That may be the case because we agree with almost everything Bolton says. In addition, however, we hypothesize that their dominance of the regime may not be the PRIMARY purpose of the missile launches. We hypothesize that they are testing missiles that could have the capability of wiping out our primary seaborne offensive weapons, the large aircraft carriers. If they could destroy an attack force at sea with a nuclear armed weapon it would eliminate a primary threat and force us to fall back to a strategy always rejected by liberals, an ICBM launch. In such a case, liberal led governments, like the Obama administration, might become hesitant to engage.
The Obama Administration is moving aggressively in the direction of eliminating major portions of the defense budget in order to make room for liberal redistribution of wealth programs and to fund hoaxes like Global Warming, health care “reform” (rationing) etc. In its zeal to dismantle our defenses some key and very essential areas have been neglected. For instance, modern weapons capability depends almost completely on satellite communications. An enemy that has the capability to knock out our satellites or render them useless could totally eliminate our defense and communications capabilities in a matter of hours. As Newt Gingrich has pointed out many times in various ways, any enemy that has the ability to launch an ICBM or a satellite to a position a hundred miles or so above the center of the United States could completely knock out all electronic capability for most of the country. One doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand how devastating that would be for our security! We are watching the experimental foreign policies of radical liberals move the U.S. toward possible annihilation and we sit here watching it happen. Folks, there is NOTHING to wonder about! ICBM and deadly nuclear weapons capabilities are being developed, by countries like Iran and North Korea who have no constraints against using them at will. We have no EFFECTIVE U.S. policy to oppose this and, in fact, have all but given the Iranian nut cases a green light to continue full speed with their program!
If we listen to the comments of knowledgeable people, our defense capabilities are headed for extinction. The Obama Administration is systematically eliminating defense backup systems like the F-22 and missile defense systems that will leave satellite dependent systems as the sole method of managing our weapons systems both offensively and defensively. This is fine as long as those systems are functioning. We should continue to aggressively develop our technological capabilities but what if, as we have pointed out, the satellites are destroyed? Without alternative or backup systems now being cancelled, that circumstance would leave us completely defenseless!
