The Bureau of Labor Statistics has now pegged the unemployment rate at 10.2 %. Even at this rate, it’s optimistic at best because it doesn’t count those who have stopped looking for work and the part time employees who need full employment. To boot, many are suspicious that Administrations who want statistics that favor their arguments will “rig” the figures by exerting pressure on those who work in these areas. Didn’t the Democrats accuse Cheney of exerting pressure on the CIA to come up with supporting arguments for the Iraq war? While we place no credence in these claims, it clearly exposes the “mindset” of the Democrats. One of the Hallmarks of their “modus operandi,” as far back as one can remember, is that they tend to accuse others of doing what they do themselves.
Let’s face it! Obama’s Administration is loaded with individuals whose focus is on political outcomes as opposed to doing what’s right. Almost everyone (with their eyes open) knows that the so-called Czars have been appointed to see that ALL the money is directed toward Obama’s political friends under cover of aiding the economy. We guess they’re helping the limousine services, the private charter jet companies and the ladies on Lexington Avenue get some money out of the stimulus since they are among the few not being paid off for continuing to support Obama and his cronies in Congress. This Administration has proven that, when choosing to do what’s right gets in the way of politics and payoffs, then this Administration chooses to satisfy its supporters. In addition to the massive corruption in which they’re engaged, they exhibit an unbelievable naivete that is getting our troops into big trouble in Afghanistan and is implementing grade school policies all over the world. If this continues, we will see a prosperous, free America turned into a third world country.
It is amazing that the Marxist economic policies chosen by Obama, Pelosi and Reid have been proven wrong so quickly; it took many decades to bankrupt the Soviet Union. (Of course, Stalin and his communist pals covered up their actions with mass killings and that tends to cool down public reaction!) In this case, the Administration has simply used a fawning media to keep the public in the dark. That said, it’s becoming increasingly obvious that the stimulus money and the rest of the huge debt forced on the American people have been used to grab power and pay off supporters. The labor unions, elites, intellectuals, Bush haters and inexperienced youth, who believed that Obama was the answer, have been seriously misled. If these contemporary Marxists gain the power they seek, their supporters will, one by one, be thrown under the bus! When will they wake up?
The action necessary to pull the economy out of its downward spiral and to create jobs is to LOWER TAXES on everyone. It’s not rocket science. The policies of both Presidents Reagan and Kennedy have shown to all but the most rabid Marxists that lowering taxes creates jobs and encourages those who hire workers. What person is going to take risks with their capital and work overtime when the money he or she makes is stolen from them by outrageous taxation? This is what happens when Marxists gain control of government. Dedicated Marxists don’t care about creating wealth – except for themselves. What they want is POWER over others and what is now coming at the American People is the ugliest and most destructive legislation any batch of nutcase, power hungry, left wing Marxists can dream up. Are the American people really going to allow this to continue? We hope not!
