Ft. Hood alleged mass murderer, Nidal Hasan, is listed as a "PARTICIPANT" in Homeland Security Policy Institute's Presidential Transition Task Force last year (The task force was not officially affiliated with the White House. It was a project of the Homeland Security Policy Institute, an independent think tank housed at George Washington University, aimed at drafting policy recommendations for the incoming Obama administration.)
Some of the report’s recommendations appear to have been implemented by the Obama Administration. The implementation of recommendations made in this report could arguably be viewed as having caused a general deterioration in the security environment for Americans both at home and abroad.
Check out the Report and where Nidal Hasan appears on page 29 - Statements concerning Hasan’s role state he was a mere “attendee” of certain activities of the task force but he is clearly shown in Apendix C on page 29 of the report as a TASK FORCE PARTICIPANT. Exactly what a “participant’s” role was, we suppose, is open to interpretation.
The report is titled:
“Thinking Anew - Security Priorities for the Next Administration”
PROCEEDINGS REPORT OF THE HSPI PRESIDENTIAL TRANSITION TASK FORCE
April 2008-January 2009

Among the plethora of "scholarly" recommendations the Report keys on "flexibility" when implementing Homeland Security policies. We assume "flexibility" really means political correctness.
We wonder whether Hasan could have “participated” in the death panels that will be created by the Obamacare or Pelosicare Health Bills? After all, he was an Army psychiatrist. Had he been appointed to one of those panels he could have arranged to kill thousands of Americans by ruling to deny them certain health care procedures.
Our guess is, however, that he would have fit more appropriately into the "Czar" category. That would have provided a much larger budget, with the ability, as we assume the Czars have, to call on the Stimulus money.
