A Video That Explains Poverty and Immigration Text by Chuck MacNab There are those among the liberal class who feel that we should open our borders because we have a humanitarian obligation to the impoverished people of the world. The most avid advocates of this view are, of course, those elites who have inherited trust fund fortunes and have never had to work a day in their lives. The only obligation the majority of Americans have is not to wind up in the same position of poverty as most of the rest of the world. Under the liberal policies being implemented by the Obama Administration and the Pelosi-Reid Congress, many U.S. citizens are either in, or moving rapidly toward, the sort of low living standards experienced by people in third world countries. The liberal objective is to make them totally dependent upon government for their existence. They want to create a "plantation" society of elite overlords where most of the population serves only their needs and whims. We can still turn away from this, turn things around and head them in the right direction by exercising our vote this November 2. Mid-term elections are not known for large voter turnouts but Americans have their country and their culture at stake in this one.
