MISSOURI DELEGATES ARE DIVIDED BETWEEN CANDIDATES - ROMNEY GETS THE MAJORITY

Missouri Republican and conservative activists need to start paying attention to reality. The reality is that Obama will win in November if Republicans and conservatives don't start putting their differences on the back burner and work enthusiastically to defeat Obama. We issued this same warning in early 2008, along with the observation that conservatives were lethargic, confused, disoriented and distracted. Too many disregarded the warnings of those who knew what an Obama Presidency would do to the country and thought it was "business as usual." Well, as we have sadly found out, it wasn't! Are voters going to go into denial again? If the polls are any judge, "maybe."

Where was the Tea Party BEFORE Obama was elected? Well, they were in denial, doing nothing. When it became obvious, AFTER OBAMA, individuals who ultimately became Tea Party supporters refused to organize into an effective political force. Obama is their motivator, not any organization of their own creation, and this is an unreliable way to achieve an objective. Many independent conservatives don't like to hear the truth and instead, point to the "victory" in the House in 2010. That was significant but Obama was its motivator, not a political movement with a durable purpose. It was a "reaction" and, guess what, he is still spending the country into bankruptcy, pandering to our enemies, destroying our economy, expanding government, packing the courts with liberals and burying left wing socialists so deep in the bureaucracy that nobody will be able to root them out no matter what the people want or who wins elections of the future. It would be like Chicago where a Republican couldn't get elected to office if Democrats buried 100 conservatives alive in Grant Park at noon in front of ten thousand observers ...and issued a press release about it!

Today, we have confusion and opposing interests at work long after they should have been checked at the door. So, in Missouri, we can see from the results below that many stubbornly disagree and while disaster looms, they ignore it to feed their personal political mythologies. There is nothing complex about an election. It's simple, the person who gets the most votes wins! Disagreement at this point in a Presidential campaign is a mistake that we cannot afford. Republicans and conservatives must come to understand that the bottom line is to defeat Obama in November and to "get it together" in order to accomplish it. Too many are still busy drilling holes in the bottom of the boat. Many insist on continuing to play a destructive game that exists only in their imagination. Somehow, they believe this puts them in the game of politics! This sort of "game" will keep Obama and all of his socialist cronies in power

This time out, if Obama wins, we will see him come to full Marxist bloom. Many know that in an Obama second term, when it comes to raising taxes, the cost of fuel and controlling every aspect of your life, "you ain't seen nothin' yet!" Imagining an Obama victory is frightening and enduring it will be painful. Can we not see this and put lesser considerations aside in order to prevent the destruction of our country and our way of life? 

 

Why not make a promise to yourself, to your family's future and to those who have given their all, present and past, and who have fought and are still fighting for freedom? That promise is, put your distractions aside until after November, join whatever organization or campaign you can find and dedicate yourself to doing whatever it takes to defeat Obama. There are some great, active campaigns that need your help. Let us suggest helping Mitt Romney win the Presidency and perhaps between now and November you might help a Republican candidate maintain or win a seat in Congress. In addition to winning the White House, it will be essential to elect a majority of effective conservative Republicans to both houses of Congress in order to root out the deeply buried leftists in the bureaucracy who always go underground and hide when a Republican President occupies the White House. 

 

If reelected, Obama will imagine that he has been given a mandate to destroy the country and the culture that we grew up in and that we know and love... if he wins, he will be correct in that assumption! We guarantee that in Obama's second term we will all passionately wish we had done something more to prevent his re-election. (end of commentary)

Here are the unofficial results according to the Missouri Republican Party of the Congressional District Conventions held throughout the State of MO.

 

24 delegates and another 24 alternates were elected to the national convention in Tampa this August.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is expected to be nominated for President there.
The Missouri results showed Romney's strength in Missouri, but also indicated he has not convinced some of his opposition.

Romney won 12 delegates. Rival Rick Santorum won 7, despite the fact that he has stopped campaigning (go figure!).
Ron Paul won 4 Missouri delegates. Newt Gingrich won one delegate. Missouri will take 52 delegates to Tampa.

St Charles County Republican Caucus called to Defeat Barrack Obama

The following message was written by Romney supporter Dana Farnsworth and is forwarded on to you for your information with our strong support and recommendation. If you are a Romney supporter and feel that it is time to join forces to defeat Barrack Obama in November then it is critical that you attend the St. Charles County Republican Caucus tomorrow (Tuesday, April 10). Please attend and bring at least 5 friends who support Mitt Romney!

All Missouri Caucus numbers are in except ours and it's still too close to call. 

It DOES matter if you show your support by attending & voting at the caucus this TUESDAY, APRIL 10th at the ST. CHARLES CONVENTION CENTER. 

 

We need YOUR help: 

1. Arrive between 4 PM - 6:30 PM - Go to the Romney TENT to check in. 
   • Bring 5 Friends with you - NUMBERS COUNT!
   • We will give you a Romney STICKER to help recognize fellow Mitt supporters.  
2. Enter the Convention Center and Register (Bring Photo ID). DOORS CLOSE AT 7 PM!
3. To help with voting, please sit by other Romney supporters.
4. Look to the Romney Floor Leaders during the voting.   

What to Expect: 

• There will be a lot of people coming and we need to be a majority.
•  There will be core Romney Team leaders helping more this time. 
•  All candidates have agreed to the beginning rules before the caucus to eliminate the issues we saw last time.
• If we have a clear majority the meeting will move quickly! 

Basic Agenda: 

1. Call the meeting to order
2. Open the meeting with the Pledge and Prayer
3. The Temporary Chair will help us elect a Permanent Chair.
4. The Permanent Chair will appoint the rules committee.
5. We will vote to adopt the proposed Rules.
6. We will propose and vote on a slate.   
   1. A slate is made up of 2 groups of 147 people in each group (a primary and alternate group) .
   2. These 294 people have volunteered to become delegates and attend 2 additional meetings.

   4. Once the slate is voted on and approved, you may decide to leave.

DEFENDING THE CONSTITUTION

As most of you know by now, a scheme was developed by certain members of the St. Charles County Republican Central Committee that would have denied others their Constitutional rights at the March 17 St Charles County Republican Caucus:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKe0dxBJy1A&feature=player_embedded  

 

We have our doubts that Chairman Dokes of the Central Committee was the originator of the plan because it exhibits the trappings of "deal making" by much more experienced individuals. However, there can be NO doubt that he wholeheartedly supported it and the record shows that he and others in league with him aggressively tried to implement it at the caucus. When it became obvious that a serious intent was under way to implement this denial of rights the Publisher of The Missouri Patriot, along with local leadership of the Romney and Paul campaigns, actively opposed it. I wish to make it clear that I have no indication that Republican State Party leaders were in any way involved in this ill conceived St Charles County Central Committee scheme.

 

Prior to the caucus the writer of this column sought to dissuade the Central Committee leadership from pursuing this plan and we also encouraged others to oppose it. One of those who was advised by us of the unconstitutional aspects of this scheme was the President of K & N Patriots. As an elected member of the County Republican Central Committee, she had accepted an invitation to be nominated as permanent Secretary of the caucus. Discussion concerning the fraudulent caucus plan failed to reach agreement and her support of those on the Central Committee who were in favor of the scheme created a "landmark" difference of opinion between us. Despite my years of support and hard work on behalf of K & N Patriots, this difference made it necessary for me to decide to withdraw from the activities of K & N Patriots until such time as the organization's leadership returns to the stated purpose of "Defending the Constitution."

 

We cannot support the leadership of any organization that agrees to violate the very principles upon which the organization was founded, no matter how zealous they want to be in defending their favorite candidate. Further, we cannot agree with the misuse of police power to silence the free expression of citizens at an officially scheduled meeting of a major political party. The use of police to "maintain order" is one often used by people in authority to deny constitutionally protected political activity and bend differences of opinion their way. When there is such an unnecessary and unwarranted use of police power, the motive is shallow and transparent. In our judgment this happened at the march 17 caucus and worked to deny Constitutional rights to those who reasonably opposed a pre-conceived scheme that the leaders of the Central Committee and their supporters were attempting to implement. We will not support any leader of an organization that does not agree with reasonable action when it comes to the basic concepts that protect freedom and our Constitution.
